How i became an ArtistThere is only one answer to this question - I have always been. A person born with creative abilities is always an artist from birth, only this is manifested in different ways.
I did not study in any art schools or universities, I had my own creative projects in childhood, which I invented for myself. In 2018 I became a downshifter and moved to a rural settlement 160 km from Moscow.
I was always drawn to absolute freedom, so I got tired of rented houses and apartments, I wanted to see nature every day and open space away from the thousands of people running to their jobs. And then I met my true love, right there in the field. The same person as me, creative at heart, looking for freedom and truth. And she told me, - Alexander, so you are an artist! I really thought about it, and became an artist)) What is abstract art to me In my paintings there is a lot of selfishness, I try to portray my own - the best art is to give people the opportunity to immerse themselves in the object as much as possible. An artistic object gives a person the possibility of immersion in oneself, the object sets the rules, the rules form the flight of thought of the imagination, creating images and mood in the subconscious of a person.
Art changes over time, as a person changes, his consciousness and subconsciousness change, we are constantly moving towards futurism. Futurism comes every
day, but we do not notice it, someone lives in the past, someone lives in the future, someone tries to live in the present.
Therefore, contemporary art will always be only in the present. But to consider it, you need some time ... to see, analyze, evaluate. Therefore, always the recognition of art will be late.
I create paintings in such styles as abstractionism, surrealism, geometrism. All these styles can sometimes be intertwined in one piece. But the main thing in my work is to convey mood and generate a stream of information in your head.
A good abstract painting will always make you “think” and then you will be able to get answers to your questions. I believe that abstract and surreal paintings therefore they attract the eyes of modern people, because they give the viewer an opportunity to “think”, the plot does not distract, its task is to immerse it in a state in which the observer can engage in introspection, go into the mode of awareness. 2018 to the present - I devote all my time to creative work, the study of modern styles in painting, as well as the study of the art market.
Since 2018, after a series of events and insights, I decide to start my career as an artist. After that, active artistic work begins, the first sales and the search for oneself.
My works are in private collections in the USA and Russia.
Currently, my workshop is located in Russia, Moscow region, where I live and work. I try to be trendyI study a lot of painting techniques, constantly introduce experiments with materials, in addition to working in a workshop, and devote a lot of time to analyzing the art market in Russia and in the world. I study the portrait of the client, the demand of the client. It all looks like business. I am using the most appropriate sizes for the paintings. Large formats are not always needed in interiors. But I don’t forget the most important thing that in the end, art is first art and then business.
You can't follow the viewer, the artist must set the trend and I am working on it. Every time I start a new job, I start all over again, every time I am looking for something new, it is difficult to find works of the same type in my portfolio. My paintings are my way forward, and while I live it will continue, but I can hardly repeat some of the best works, it's easier for me to create a new, more modern one.
My credo: I am not limited by the foundation of the theory. I always ignore the rules and check them in reality. I value freedom and personal opinion.
